FILIPPO BERIO® OLIVE OIL REVIEW

I am always on the lookout for healthier foods to complement my healthy lifestyle so trying out Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil was a no-brainer.  I have never tried this oil, or extra virgin olive oil, for that matter so this was a new thing for me.

The very first thing that occurred to me, is that I can use this oil to deep fry some pastry puffs that I have been craving.  So, in addition to healthy benefits of this oil, I got some delicious deep fry puffs!  I know that these pastry puffs are not exactly healthy but I was due for an indulgence and make it a little healthier was a great motivation.  Here is how they turned out:

I always worry about oil tasting or smelling weird when I fry it but this oil both smelled and tasted delicious and appetizing!  I have tried this oil in my favorite salads and I am pleased to say that the salads taste great.  This oil has a serving size of 1 tablespoon and each serving contains 120 calories and 14g of fat 2g of saturated fat and 0g of trans fat.

GARNIER FRUCTIS Sleek & SHINE

Do you have frizzy or dry and unmanageable hair?  Or do you crave that shine that you can't seem to quite get in your hair?  I was one of those girls until I tried Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Shampoo and Conditioner.  You can imagine how super excited I was when I heard about these products and was invited to try them on my own hair!

Anyway, the first thing I noticed at first wash is how incredible they smelled in the shower.  My hair smelled so good when I dried it, I could not get enough of it.  It also felt noticeably softer and easier to brush.

After a few washes, I noticed how my hair started to get less frizzy than usual and did not seem so dried out at the end of the day.  Now, after using these products for 3 weeks, I love how my hair has this healthy shine and smells great.  The frizz is noticeably reduced and its more manageable.  It also feels a little heavier because it retains that moisture that it needs and does not get that dried and frizzy look that makes my head look like a puff ball.

I love this shampoo and the conditioner and would recommend it to anyone with a similar hair type to mine who is craving that sleek and shiny look!
